Hello Everyone,

I have been using a HP DC7900 as homeserver/htpc for a while but I've always hated the case (which is also a bit scratchy)
I have been searching for another Sff case but most are Mini atx but none Atx. I believe the dc7900 mobo is Atx so.
The stock case is quite small (sff) so I was wondering if theres any other tiny cases where a Atx board will fit in, you got any suggestions?
Saw a few other threads but all suggestions are fat cases while I like the stock sff case width, which is quite small.

Thanks guys.

Hey, thanks for your respond. Im not home right now but the inside looks like this:

Damn, maybe I should buy a new motherboard. But will have to find one where my current cpu would fit in. Maybe a mobo which supports ddr3 ram as this one supports ddr2 only.

What CPU is in it currently? Sounds to me if you're willing to upgrade you mobo and ram, you might aswell get a new CPU too.

Im using this computer as homeserver/htpc so I dont need any more then this quad core @ 2.6ghz
So would like to keep this CPU
If you insist, you'll have to look around for a LGA 775 DDR3 board. If you let me know what country you live in and trough what sources you can buy, I could give you a hand in searching.

But I personally don't think its very clever to be spending money on a platform that ancient. As you'll be buying a new case, PSU, motherboard and ram anyway, you might aswell go all the way and get a new cpu too as it won't be all that much more expensive, and you won't be stuck on an old platform.

Edit: And you won't be constrained to ATX anymore either, so even smaller cases are possible.
Edit2: Here's an example: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/qdKTwV
