Bethesda's next batch of downloadable content for the PC and Xbox 360 editions of Fallout 3 will arrive on March 24, the developer has informed Eurogamer. In commemoration of the announcement, several new screenshots were released.

Priced at 800 Microsoft Points ($10), the download, dubbed The Pitt, will allow players to explore post-apocalyptic Pittsburgh, face some moral quandries regarding slaves and Raiders, and wield a kick ass serrated rotary blade known as the AutoAxe.

A third bit of Fallout 3 downloadable content, Broken Steel, will be released for PC and Xbox 360 players in April. In addition to raising the game's level cap from 20 to 30, Broken Steel will also continue the story past the original ending.

I loved fallout 3 to be honest, and it's cool that you want to share your ideas, but how bout some more meaningful posts

Its good that they're trying to keep Fallout 3 alive and well for players. These DLC packs sure add some more fun for when you think you've explored everything
Ill prolly just wait till april when they sell them together.
I've heard too many horror stories about the GFWL causing botched installs, I REALLY want to play the OA DLC but I will probably wait until all three DLC's get released as a GOTY edition type thing, like the Oblivion one.

I may go ahead and do it but at very least I will wait until all three DLC's are out so I only have to go through the torture once.

I mean, the GFWL director got freaking fired, that tells you right there how much of a success it was.

i wonder if its going to be on the world map somewhere or if its going to be a gateway like shivering isles was for oblivion.

also is there going to be any way to get these besides GFWL? their service is just unbearable.

edit: now that i think about it, Pittsburgh is in Pennsylvania so it probably would be a gateway event that would take u there since your in Washington dc.
I hope its not as dissapointing as the first DLC.
Screw this. I know it will be awesome but I refuse to use Windows Live.
Fallout 3 was by far the best game I've played since bioshock. I hope the expansion gives me reason to go back and play a few more hours.
i absolutly love this game to death. my only beef is that my paid for version refuses to work. i ended up having to download a skull rip and fix and use my key to play the bloody game. really miffed me that i had to use alternitave media for my 60$ purchase. the worst part of it all, ill end up buying this expansion as well cause im hooked on the game that much
It better have a good storyline and be longer than the last one.
Good... Can't wait to see my home city in shambles!

Though I heard it escaped being nuked, bummer...

You read my mind. Oh, and they didn't even fix the walking physics, it looks so lame, and all you do is move constantly in that game, so I'd rather look at realistic running rather than the way they made it.

The physics were awful in that game too, overall, I wasn't a big fan of it, though I took the time to beat it.

Yeah I totally agree. They recycled quite a lot of the assets. Its was more of a mod then fallout. All they did was optimised the engine a bit more so that ran smoother than oblivion on crappy hardware. It wasn't a different game.

I'm sorry you feel that way. I loved the game. Fallout is AWESOME. So there.

Fatman Experimental MIRV + Rivet city marketplace = lots of laughs.
Also another fun idea is to spawn 20 behomeths in rivet city marketplace.

They probably won't... these are downloadable only from Microsoft. =p

I agree with some of the comments toward Fallout 3. All-in-all it's a good game but there are some things that put me off it. For me it's a very immersive game but only up to the point. After a while it seems like you're doing the same thing again and again. Also, some of the gliches (which some of seemingly should have been fixed by now) early on were a little frustrating; specifically Crossfire issues and the semi-constant crashes.

Bad game? No. Exceptional game? No.
I will probably buy the expansion and then download an installer for it, I refuse to use the GFWL as I lost my save, having to restart just to get some DLC is not fun!
Time for another 5 playthroughs on Fallout 3.
