Epic Games and Valve Software announced they have inked a deal that will see the Valve's free Steamworks tools more easily available to all Unreal Engine 3 licensees.

if this means that older games can be registered onto Steam as was the case with Unreal Tournament III, it'll be EPIC.

excuse the pun

Wait, so I can register my retail UT3 to Steam?

Yeah I read this on Steam's forums, this is awesome, wonder what it means for MoH.

edit: Omg it actually works. :|

I don't think linking your games to steam is what this means. I think what this means is that all games made using the Unreal 3 engine will have easier access to steam tools. This is more like add tools.
