Shallow 5.1 sound?

I just calibrated my 5 speakers... Sure the sound sounds like it's in the center, but it sounds soo... shallow, and not full and realistic. Like a cheap mono speaker.

Sounds silly i know..Is stereo Enabled ?. Perhaps bump up the Bass in the Control center for the audigy.

Make sure any environments are disabled for example hall etc.

Try messing around with the bass and treble settings.

Try messing with the CMSS 3D settings in EAX Console. And if you use Windows Media Player, also try the SRS WOW effects.

Ive fount its better to have cmss 3d DISABLED.

what are you trying to play through it? Also, what speakers are you using??

X-530. The thing is, I find it very strange... how the sound is like coming out of nowhere into my ears

i had this problem when i got my audigy try switching the green and orange wires, leave the black in the center though

I messed with the bass and treble. It's better, but still shallow...

Edit: I think I fixed it. Reseted some settings and upped the bass. Ahhh my ears thank you...
