Been looking at this game and was wondering if anyone can shed some light on it's G27 support and what the games like. Realism, simulation, gameplay etc.

i played it a little. the graphics are ok, i play on max setting. i dont know what g 27 means. game play is alright except the stupid guy telling you stuff that you cant skip, the driving is pretty real. i would not buy it, but its ok. better than hot pursuit in some ways. it gets old following the stupid lines on the road to get points.

I wouldn't get it yet, the game has massive input lag problem with a wide range of steering wheels and controllers.

i have a g27 and its awesome! challenge cars feel boaty. idk why. lol. but yea get it

@@btw i dont notice input lag on my g27 for PC.

I guess if you're play playing other racing games you may not notice it as much. I've been playing GT5 lately and this is very noticable to me.

Someone did some testing on this, basically this game respond to user input 0.2 seconds slower than GT5.

It kinda feels like the steering is all on or all off to me.... No middle ground.

It's fun, but the controls are funky. I'm using Logitech's 360-style controller.

I agree that it feels like it's all or nothing with the steering. When I'm in the groove, what I believe I'm doing is setting the car up for the corner with the brakes then hammering the steering and gas simultaneously, so it negates the steering quirkiness.

One thing I don't like is that even if you barely touch another driver, you're going to get spun or put into a wall.

I've also found that is I don't get the lead within the first couple of curves, I won't win the race. If I do get the lead, I can keep it, so I find myself restarting a lot, which definitely hurts game play. I've yet to pass anyone on the last lap or last turn of the race. This may be because I stink, or I simply don't drive well from behind. I wsh that I felt like I had a chance to win in the end, so I didn't feel compelled to restart the races so much.

well a fully tuned reventon is easier to drive than a stock elise xD

I think you cant just select the game pad or wheel you have and forget it. you have to do a little tuning till its easy to control and steer the car.
I dont have any input lag at all.

I think EA did a better job making the cars handle more realistically than shift 1. Spending some time driving a car and tuning it will make it even a bigger pleasure and more fun to drive

Spent about 30laps on laguna seca tuning my EVO IX.

What people expect is a car to turn at 160mph with no problem- this is what arcade has done. Sure the car will skid and the backend may want to spin around.

i have a real xbox controller hooked up, have zero game lag, i get great frames per second on the highest settings. i amazed at the people having problems cause i have none.

I have a real xbox 360 controller hooked up, and have massive game lag despite trying several of the 'fixes' . i also play at highest settings (1 board, no 2x or 3x sli works), and i am amazed at the people who do not have issues.
