Because of the minuses i see in the spreadsheet ?

Also, i have 970Mhz core folding stable @ 1.213V
I just added another 120MM fan blowing on the card and the VRM heatsink so all should be good ... Temps even dropped 2°C.
Gotta love 00:47 TPF

Oh, that's just because there hasn't been an update yet. I need to minus everyone's current stats first.

Updating now, so no more minuses.

975 on stock HSF

That's awesome! Give it 24hrs to be sure before I'll update the FP.

Wish I'd stuck with Gigabyte purchases instead of cheaping out on Palit... get what you pay for hey.
It's been less than a week and I'm already thinking of throwing the Musashi onto my 8800GT and getting another different (better) cooler for the 460.

If i load a game up it crashes before it loads
Only the shaders are stable, the core is very unstable but it works for folding. And without the extra 120MM fan blowing on it my temps reached 74°C when folding, now it's 10°C less with more voltage so yes it does help if you have a case with only 1 fan lol.
I will get my HAF 932 next week, i don't have the money for the HAF X right now.

Also today my points won't be great. Going to play some Dead Rising 2 with some friends for a good 5h but i'll make it up to you guys tonight. Is the iz 920 folder even active ? I'm pretty sure i haven't seen him posting in the thread ...

Yeah i gotta sort out some better airflow in my HTPC, it's way too constrictive; at 775MHz the 460 atm is running 76C.
Hoping to see some improvement when i get the USB to Gigabit adaptor delivered so I can remove the wireless adaptor and just have the pci slot open air. I'm still trying to figure out the best fan layout in this particular case and also which works better, positive or negative pressure.

Atleast you have a case. Like it is now it's just a shell holding my mobo, psu and dvd drive. My case can't even close because of my 212+ ...

I'll be upgrading my rig like this: new case + Antec TPN750W -> mobo + ddr3 -> another gtx460 -> 1055T or bulldozer

Nice work on the first post zenith!

Sorry I took last night off from folding, but I was stress testing instead. I was able to achieve the following improvement over my previous configuration:
RAM from 1642MHz 8-8-8-24 to 1524MHz 7-7-7-16
CPU/NB from 2772MHz to 2860MHz
HT from 2156MHZ to 2002MHz (closer to 2000MHz is faster)

From what I've read here (and my own tests), this is a pretty sizable improvement in speed. It is 8+ hours of prime95, LinX, and Furmark stable. Let's see how this affects my PPD

I'M HERE! I'M HERE!
Sorry, this week has been pretty hellish. At least my internet is back and only a few hours of driving left. Btw, I love the name and agree on the captain even if it is too late.

All right, I'm definitely new to this and I've been trying to absorb as much as I can in the time I've had, but to make it quicker, here's a few questions.
1. I'm guessing that my personal passkey that I sent to zodac is all that's needed, right?
2. It seems like I'm missing info on how teams work, etc.) here and there as it comes up. Is this all just passed around or is there a specific place I should be looking because so far I haven't found it yet.
3. Are all of you on multiple teams (cpu, gfx, etc)?

Now, I am new to all of this so I'm still working on getting up to speed...literally this time.
I need to get a better cooling system, but can't pay much for it right now so I'm going to probably wait and try to get what I can out of the stock.
I think that the reason that I haven't registered any points is because with adding bigadv and no OC, it hasn't finished a WU yet...I'll be in the help forums.

Yeah, 10+ done, but my ppd is really low (600ish) and I know that it won't finish in time. I suspect that it's simply that I've not OC'd it yet, but this still seems a little ridiculous. I so far haven't found much in the forums, but I'm still looking. Any help is greatly appreciated.

An i7 920 at stocks speed is close to the limit for bigadv. Are you on the stock cooler ? With your cpu at ~4Ghz you would get a lot more points.

As for that 600PPD on a bigadv, are you using HFM.NET to monitor your PPD ? Don't use fahmon as it doesn't calculate your bonuses. If you're using HFM.NET make sure "Calculate Bonus credit and PPD" is checked.

Well i had 970 1.212 3h stable but i don't really want to run it 24/7 at 1.212V so currently it's
945Mhz 1.137V 00:48 TPF

BTW i could make some cool stuff in PS if anyone would want it, i just need a theme.

I have parts for a new X6 folding system on the way as well as a RAM upgrade for my current system. Is it against the rules or anything to run both systems for our team? Can I use the same passkey on both?

1. yep, throw that in FAH and your set.

2. I haven't stumbled across a thread explaining how it works either, but from what I've gathered... Each person folds for 37726 under one username. Each username may acquire multiple passkeys (assigned per email address). These passkeysare how OCN distinguishes the team members. Each user assigns an individual passkey to the component contributing to the team; a user may have another passkey that is used for all other components (or individually if they so choose).
Zodac may wish to correct me if I got anything wrong.

3. Nope, as Zodac mentioned to me when I though of doing same, "Conflict of interests". OCN doesn't have GPU only teams anymore, just the multi-components; I guess to help stop any fanboyism.
