Well the buzz this morning it that they release today. That said, just had my first look at some pricing, and the cheapest 1 is still $950. Won't get any cheaper than that until q3.

No, it isn't. Like I said, there are xeon versions...........xeon or not they are all 1366 socket. Problem is, it doesn't appear that any of them are going to be any cheaper than the 980x, so it's kind of a moot point anyway. Check the above posted link. Every one of those hex's will fit in any 1366 board, putting the total chip count to 6:
