I need to upgrade my PSU before upgrading my hardware specs. . . but i also need a case for the server im building and would really like to upgrade the one i have and use it as the server case. . . soo . .

Should i get a decent power supply (say the SILVERSTONE ST85ZF)

or should i get a new case . . . which would probably be the LIAN LI, V Silent PC-V1100B

well either way you're going to have to get a new psu. Might as well get one now, and maybe get a better case when you buy your HDs and video cards so that you can have more room i guess

I am going to go a different way. So you wont be upgrading until DX10, aka at least November, at least. PSU prices drop as new models come out, wattages get more, stuff like that. Case prices don't change that much. So I say buy the case now, and later that PSU might be cheaper, or a better one might be the same price.

Thanks for reminding me. . . anopther reason i wanted a new case is because the G80 is supposed to be 11"s long. . . i def need more space if the next gen GPU's are going to be near that length.
