I have an ASUS P6T motherboard, its just over 3 years old. It has been sat gathering dust since I upgraded to 1155 but last time I used it it stopped working and I noticed there was some burn damage on the back of the mobo close to the ram slots. I tried to send it off to the original retailer but they refused the RMA and pointed to the 'burn' damage. Since its 3 years old, would ASUS honour this rma? how long is thier warranty for?

thanks

Depends on the warranty that came with the board.

My Sabertooth Z77 has a 5 year warranty. Your's may range from 1-5 years, but you could probably call ASUS to see what warranty the board has, if any left. If you have warranty, I'd give it a shot and send it in unless you're in serious need of that motherboard and don't mind the burn mark.

Here's their support page: http://asus.co.uk/support/

I believe ASUS offers a 3yr warranty from the date of manufacture for their boards. You might be out of luck. To know for sure, call them and give your SN. The manufacture date is built into the SN, so they will tell you if it is still within warranty.
