I have a chance to get an i7 bloodrage combo???
should i?? (I feel like such a tratior)

The problem is i have only air cooling. I got the 955 thinking i was gonna break 4ghz. I cant get water because the misses will notice the new setup. I can however swap cpus and mobos etc....
I found a cheap deal on the i7/bloodrage

what would YOU do????

Yes, I have heard/read great things about them. I am buying everything in my sig if I don't buy a drag car in the next week.

Unless you do some heave multitasking I do not see the need for an i7. What you have is an awesome setup and I say you should keep it.

If you do encoding or other heavy multi thread tasks the switch could do some good. If not you will see no difference. But if its for the same price do upgrade because i7 is a great deal faster in multi thread optimized programs.

Don't worry about disgracing AMD if a certain processor does a better job at a certain price than get it.

IMO go with the i7.
