Shut off 2nd computer while transferring file :(

I was transferring a save game over the network to my second computer via copy/paste, and in the middle of it I restarted the 2nd computer.

Is there any way to get my file back? It's completely gone from computer #1, and on computer #2 it is only 15mb out of 5xmb that it's supposed to be. I spent days on this game

Ouch.
You could google for some data recovery software. Can't suggest a specific one as I don't have much experience with them though.

I doubt it.

As a matter of fact I doubt system restore works for anything.
