EVERYTHING is black and white and blue and blue and blue

Biostar, the absolute best mobo manufacturer, makes black and red. Whoopee

I don't need a crosshair board. But again, just black and red

So close to painting and anodizing parts

I'd assume the manufacturers cater to the majority.

I myself prefer simply black, but I'm not one to have a case window either. I don't take my rigs out of my house so it's pretty pointless for me to have a flashy rig.

I like the blue, white, black colour scheme, and I believe I'm in the majority, majority wins like 80% of the time in business

Conservative colors win out. Just look at mainstream cars. Very safe color choices. Only the supercars have very flashy (and somewhat gaudy) paint jobs.

Although, one of my old AMD boards had a purple PCB with gold heatsinks.

Is it just me who doesn't want the inside of their case to look like a well thought out womens' outfit?

Could be pink and purple with my little pony logos all over it for all I care, I never really look in there.

I'll take whatever color schemes they give me, especially since the color-themed PCBs are a relatively new thing. 2 or 3 years ago, you'd have a hard time building a rig with pretty internals (glares at P5Q pro with it's blue, yellow, and white slots).

I personally find white, black and blue a nice color scheme. Instead, I've never been a fan of black and red for high end stuff (yes, I'm talking to you EVGA)

Reflect heat? Heat cannot be reflected, heat is just a measurement of the energy that is produced when two objects are close and have different temperature (An exchange of energy until equalization is achieved) . Black absorbs light, white reflects it. Heat is..just heat.

I like nice schemed motherboards, but it seems I care only when unboxing it or looking at it at the store. I never look at the inside of my PC, so looks are a waste to me.

I tend to disagree with this statement.

But indeed the schemes are horrible and maybe because the PCB-s are made in the same factory for more manufacturers ( a hunch ,no exact info) .Foxconn made maybe as all the slots sockets and so on.Thats why they have workers suiciding maybe .

The same... Well not. Black=Heat. Thats it. Dont tell me if it eats light or not. Its about heat :/. I didnt said to get all white because it will look pretty **** mobo. Not that anyone looks inside your chassis.

I don't know Blacktop does get really friggin hot and that white concrete crap on sidewalks is considerably cooler than the road it does kinda make sense. But you are right technically black absorbs light and white reflects it, but I do burn the crap outta my feet on some blacktop lol.

say who ?

black absorbs LIGHT and then CONVERTS it into heat. The color of your motherboard will never affect component temps.

well, that is unless you put a incandescent heat lamp in your case.

Id rather have a single color PCB motherboard for a reasonable price, than 4 color choice of the same mobo and deal with stocking issues and increased mfg costs -> increased retail costs.

True but, lights light isn't it i mean regardless of the source it will absorb some and release some amount of heat right? i mean UV cathodes put out lots of light not a whole lotta heat but definitely light. Unless you have a crappy one lol. Not you specifically, but in general.

The light from any in-case lighting would not be strong enough to produce any noticeable heat based on pcb colour. They probably wouldn't produce any noticable heat at all in the case tbh.

I personally prefer black pcb's but I never really pay attention to the colour when choosing one!
