Silly temp question

so i know this has been posted but i just cant seem to be able to find it . im monitoring my temps and i was trying to remember what some of the "max" safe temps are for cpu temp vs the core temps since they are like 10 degrees difference. and while im asking about temps i know its the intel cpu thead but anyone have any max safe temps should watch out for on an 8800gts. thanks for the info

Under 80c is fine for the 8800. It seems that the max safe temp for your e2180 is 72~ but its best to keep it lower ;/

is it 72 at the cpu or 72 at the core and i would probably keep it around 50-55 core.

I believe its the core temp. http://support.intel.com/support/pro.../CS-030091.htm if you want to go into detail.
