Single/dual channel.

CPU-z says my RAM is single channel when it's actually dual. Why is this?

2*2GB of G.skill PK 1066 CAS 5.

Have you set it to operate in dual channel mode in the motherboard BIOS?
No, I thought it might automatically.
I haven't seen an option there for it but I should go look I guess.

Make sure your rams in properly
If your motherboard has 4 RAM slots, Make sure they are in the same color slots.

^got in b4 me lol. I have yet to see a bios option to select dual or single channel, USUALLY the same colour slots are how it goes, but there are exceptions (for whatever reason).
