Hi<br />

I'm repairing a very old computer for a friend of mine, but I have a prob.<br />
He wanted win xp on it, so I did that.<br />
But I can't find any driver for win xp for the graphics card...<br />
it's a sis 6326 pci video card.. I can only find win 98/ME drivers...<br />
Can anyone help me please?<br />

I realy can't find any driver that works..<br />
could it be that that card just can't work properly in win xp?

Not working, the driver..<br />
Windows says dat the driver is ok.. that's the problem.. Neather driver will work 'better' than current, windows says..<br />
in the device manager there isn't a remark at video card, all is normal windows thinks..

If windows thinks the driver is fine, you should be able to force it to use a specific driver.<br />
<br />
Remove the device from the device manager...when it asks to reinstall a driver(which it should), don't let it search for anything. Manually point it to a folder with a compatible .inf file, and it will use that.

Yes I know, but i automatically uses the other 'driver' which doesn't even properly work.. big windows bug <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Smile"><br>
But I set the hardware rendering to none and now there almost isn't any ****** in screen showup... but what ever, it's only for ms word use and internet surfing, no pro use so it won't anoye them I think<br><br>
