So, quick question...are all SLI bridges the same (barring the obvious differences in length)?

I ask cause I ordered a second 680 and picked up one of these:

I plan to paint it with flexible non conductive red paint with black lettering on it to match my setup. Just wondering if just any SLI bridge like this will work?

Also, I've never run SLI before. In crossfire though, you only need one bridge. Is it the same with SLI? Which SLI connectors do I attach it to?

Yeah that will work just fine. I believe you can attach it to either of the connectors, but some bridges are funny just make sure it is connected the right way around. Most of them have writing on them to indicate orientation and some work either way. Just make sure if you paint it you maintain that orientation but either way if its not connected properly it just won't work in sli. It would just suck if your painting was upside down. Oh yeah and you do only need one bridge unless your running tri or quad SLI, have fun

Yep any SLI bridge will work. For better aesthetics try and get one that is the right length so it doesn't have a large bend in it. Connect it to either connectors, each card has 2 so you can 3-way or 4-way SLI, when doing 2-way each card will have an unused connector.
