Ok i have 2 PNY GTX260's and for some reason in GPU-Z and Evga Precision it says that my cards are running at 300 core clock/601 shader clock/ and 100 memory clock. Yet on the first tab in GPU-Z it says my cards are overclock to 686 Core clock/1479 Shader Clock/ and 1109 memory clock. Whats going on? Im sooo lost! Ps its my first time overclock GPU's in SLI.

I believe they're downclocked when they're not being used to save power.

I'm really not sure to be honest. It shouldn't matter though unless you're taking a screenshot for benchmarks. As soon as you do anything that uses the gpu it jumps up to the oc'd values.

True. Saves you tons of energy when in 2d mode. No way to change it that i know of. But it goes to your OC settings whenever you switch to 3d. No worries
