Okay , so i have a pair of gigabyte 570's , im trying to sli them.

I have tried changing which slot the bridge is using.
I have tried popping them out and putting them back in.
I have tried reinstalling the software.

Still no SLI option

Right now im grabbing new software straight from Gigabytes site.

When i opened up the case to pop them out and in i noticed that one takes 2x 6pin power cables , and one takes an 8pin and a 6pin. Thoughts?

First thought being: if you have an Asus P8P67, it doesn't support SLI, you need a new motherboard.

Agreed, that board supports crossfire only even (Rev 3.0).

Mainly 100% because it has a Pcie 16X and Pcie 4X slots, it can do crossfire - that is unless you have some other motherboard than you listed in your sig. rig - just because you have 2X PCIE slots doesn't mean that the board supports SLI, Nvidia is pretty stringent about what does and what doesn't.

You don't have to take my word for it, check out Asus website for yourself, thats why it only list CrossfireX solutions

Isn't there a patch you can get for the board?

Examined my box for my new 570 , its all the exact same except theres a small inconspicous sticker that says rev 2.0.
