SLi?

628 Views 15 Replies 7 Participants Last post by  a300
I ordered thishttp://www.asrock.com/mb/overview.asp?Model=P45TurboTwins2000
motherboard. It says that there is a SLi/xFire switch card, but no reviewers that I have seen say that it is compatible with SLi.

So does it support SLi?

Also if you have one, is it good?

-Thanks.

On the icon below the picture of the motherboard it says SLi/XFire switch card.
:swearing:Tricked me into buying it

maybe we'll see how good newegg's service is if one 9600 isn't enough.

Also, should I
1. keep my ECS and get a GTS250/Radeon 4850/4770
2. Get a 650i SLi ECS Open Box
3. do nothing

What is a SLI/xFire switch card anyways?

To The OP, it will only support Crossfire.

Also I would buy an HD4830 or something. It will outperform the 9600 gt.

O wow sorry i was wrong. It supports Crossfire as is but you can buy a switch card that makes it support SLI. Thats cool. It looks like the switch card holds the cfx/sli chipsets
