Hi Everyone,

So i just purchased this Inspiron Desktop - AMD FX-Series - 16GB Memory - 2TB Hard Drive

But its Running Super Slow, I already Replaced the RAM to a Kingston HyperX Savage 16GB Kit (2x8GB) 1866MHz DDR3 Non-ECC CL9 DIMM XMP (HX318C9SRK2/16) but it doest seem to adjust the speed.

The NB Frequency is only at 698.6 MHZ

And i Dont know how to adjust anything, I tried watching some videos but I just cant find the right one.

Heres the complete list Below.

With default TDP of 15/25W (base, boost) the memory speed will be limited to =< DDR-1600. Carrizo has several PStates for the NB so the frequency will increase (up to 1.3GHz) upon demand. 700MHz in some conditions is completely normal.

Hi Stitl,

Thank you for the information, is there a way to adjust the TDP so that I can have a higher Frequency?

I am experience latency / lag when I play web browser games that run Flash The game is called Felspire and it cannot handle multiple browsers that i though my computer should be able to handle.

you'd have to go into BIOS/UEFI to see if the TDP is adjustable, though I bet they put a laptop mainboard in your machine without a configurable TDP.
Funny that it recognizes your ram at such a high CL. I replaced the 1600 CL11 stick with 1866 CL10 in my laptop, not realizing it was restricted to 1600, but CPUz shows it running at 1600 CL9, so I at least got a lower CL with the new RAM.
