I'm not sure if this is a dumb question but I've had this problem for a while now. In device manager, i still have a little yellow circle with an exclamation point next to my SMBus controller. I've read that the SMBus controller interface has to do with intel but do I really need this? It's been about 4 months and I've been playing games well without it I'm just curious as to whether its really that important for me.

Thanks

Install your chipset driver's from the cd that came with your mobo. If you don't have the cd go to manufacture's web sit and download your version motherboard chipset.

Thanks guys. Yeah I downloaded that ATI package and ran the .exe file in the WinRAR archive a couple days ago actually. It installed the South Bridge drivers and restarted my computer. When I went to see if it had installed it, that little yellow exclamation point was still there.

I also kept trying to search on my CD for it. I will try again when i get home to see if the CD has that stuff on it.
