Hello folks,

The Snaptax app on Android platform is giving out survey invites that reward a $10 Amazon gift card upon completion. The only caveat is that the survey doesn't come until after April 18th (for obvious reasons, since this is a tax app), but you get an e-mail confirmation that you will receive the survey immediately.

Here are the steps, taken from Slick Deals:

Important Note: It can take more than one time opening the app to get the survey to pop up, so follow these steps until the offer pops up.

1) Open App (Snaptax Free Version)
2) If you don't get the survey, Go to the homescreen, and go to Settings --> Applications --> Manage Applications --> SnapTax --> Clear Data.
3) Press the home button (not the back button!) to exit settings and open SnapTax.
4) If you still don't get the survey, hold down the home key until it shows recent apps, and select "Settings" and hit Clear Data again.
5) Repeat until you get the survey.

This makes no sense. If the survey doesn't come out till the 18th. Then why do you have to keep doing all this junk to try and get the survey? Confusing much.

The app asks you if you are willing to fill out a survey after tax season and get a $10 amazon gift card as a reward. All you have to do is give them your e-mail address now, they send you a confirmation, and then they send your survey after the 18th.

The survey doesn't automatically pop up each time you open the app, it is supposed to be random, however through the clear data trick, you can open the app as if it was brand new as many times as you want to ensure you get the survey offer.

Nope, doesn't work.
I pushed clear data once, and every time I reopen SnapTax and then go to settings to Clear Data. The option is greyed out.

Some people report getting it on first install, and anywhere else ranging from 1-x data clears (I think the highest I saw was 12).

I guess whatever happened on your phone is calling for the app to be reinstalled or something..not really worth it for $10 but..seemed to be easy peasy for me and everyone else

You can do it multiple times but there is no telling if they will all come through since the surveys don't come out until after the 18th. You probably just need different e-mails, try it out

I finally received an e-mail asking to do survey and i will be able to have a $10 amazon credit once completed. Kindly check your e-mails co'z it is only valid until Monday 25th.
