I bought an AM3+ board hoping...and...we see what happened.

Keep my X3 or try and pick up a Thuban or other chip?

AMD, I am sad. I was an Intel guy...thought I would give it a go...

Same here. I'm sticking with what I've got till prices drop alot or maybe they put out some updated chips which perform better. (I can wish)

Go Ivy. That's what I'm doing.

Apparently you can OC even the locked Ivy chips, because you can choose 266 as BLCK. So at stock multiplier, you could get 9ghz+. You can dial the multiplier down on locked chips, though, so you OC by dialing the multiplier down. Sounds promising.

I bought the UD7 a couple of months ago.
Rather than selling it, I'll just install the 8150/20 and tinker with it.
It's not a bad CPU, it just sucks compared to SB.
