Hi all, didn't know where to post it but I guess software will do

I want to rip my DVDs to my HDD but when I go to do it the copyright protection stops me. Which programs do you use to rip DVDs to your HDD?

Pretty sure this is against the TOS

Where did I say I was going to share them? Ripping DVDs/music to my HDD is perfectly legitimate and legal. Even copying a DVD is legal if you use it as a backup. I guess if it's against the ToS it'll just be deleted.

If so, it's against the TOS regardless of supposed legality.
Not sure. Not even sure if it's the copyright protection that's stopping me from ripping them. I can create an iso file but it's all decoloured and the sound is distorted, never tried to create avi's or anything. Don't know of any software to do so.
