Soldam Windy Super Silent 120mm Fans

Soldam Windy also makes fans. Their SS (Super Silent) series are simply amazing. They compare very well to the Noctua NF-P12-1300 120mm. Comparing them side by side, they are very close to the same noise level. The Windy SS has a lower hum than the Noctua.

Specs:
1000RPM-18.7dB-38.8cfm
1200RPM-24.0dB-44.7cfm

I will have more details on them later. I am currently looking into purchasing a large quantity of them and shipping them to the US. If there is enough interest in them, I plan to go though with it. I can get pricing information in the future.

Yeah, MMansueto said he was using them for his rig right now.

Coming from Soldam, I doubt it is a rebrand. I will look into the technical specs.

Thanks to Minamoto, I found some more info. There is the SS Premium model. They are double ball bearing. They are amazing, 17dB, 60.95CFM.

I am not planning on getting any of these.
The model in post 1 would be $10-15. I have to get more details before I can set a final price.
17dB, 60.95CFM?? that's amazing if its true, id buy one of those!
$10-$15?
Sounds pretty good even if you don't know the final price.
I'd definately be interested. I need some new fans...

Someone needs to find out how accurate this is first-hand. That DOES look amazing.

Edit; converted yen to dollars for them, that's ~$75 per fan. That's without the dust filter kit. Are they so confidently crazy in their own ratings that they make San Aces look dirt cheap just to make you think it's that accurate?

Mort, I would be interested in one of these if the price is under $20. If they meet my standards for noise I will take a couple more. These Slipstreams are wearing out and Noctua refuses to send me free fans

Wow, those fans are ridiculious, but WOAH $75 per fan...no even Soldam
First don't believe manufactures stated rating, they can measure db's at any range from the fan they want (noctua's and silenX are good examples).

Second, these fans are made by Cooler Master. Pack of four for cheaper than one rebranded fan.

To give everyone an idea, i replaced all my yate loons with these. I have 25 of them right now. I paid far less than $15 US per fan. I am looking into bulk pricing on them. I am waiting for my distributor to check in on them. I will pm Mort with more details later. Marin, pm me if you want one to test out (i have a bunch of extra)
