Hi, I'm not new to computers, I'm just not a genius and I have a few questions that I need help with before I update my graphics card.

1. What is the best card for my budget of $170US/$210AUD? I've been considering the Geforce GTS 250 and the Geforce 9800GT. Are any of those good or should I get a different one (any recommendations?)

2. I have a Pentium D Dual-Core @ 3.4GHz per core, will it need to be upgraded to avoid bottlenecking?

Thanks.

Yes your Pentium D will bottleneck any card from the past 2 years, by alot. A great cheap upgrade would be a E5xxx CPU, what is your motherboard?
