yes, high settings of crysis, 2xAA, 4850 with 1255 on the 512mb of ddr3 & 789 on the core, 4870 with 1100mhz on the 1gb of ddr5 & 860mhz on the core, both score 36fps.
Yeah I've noticed that actually, the new ati cards seem to fare better at high resolutions than at low resolutions... perhaps something to do with how they are built or operate?

yeah that was my point, shouldn't the 1gb of ddr5/extra core speed totally rape the 4850 ?
I would say that something is funky with their 4850 test, because it also beats the GTX260 in that test, which is even with the 4870 on average (better in Crysis).
A 17% increase by OC'ing a already oc's card is pretty unbelievable IMO.
