I currently have a T7250 2.0ghz socket p chip in this laptop. Anyone know if I can put a T8300 (which is 45nm socket p) in it?

Oh and the chipset is an intel GM965 which on the intel website it said it supports 45nm Core 2 Duos

Yes you can, you can put a T9300 or T9400 if you want any socket P up to 800Mhz FSB. Even a couple X's.

But also update the BIOS to make full use of them.
