I need some help, as i know nothing of sound cards.
I was contracted to fix this woman's PC who had a dell where the motherboard and cpu were dead. I am assuming it was a power surge or something of the sort. She had a dell dimension 4400, and i told her it was 280$ to get a new motherboard from dell. So i told her i could replace her motherboard, cpu, and get her new windows xp for cheaper then that. ( okay on with the real reason)
She had a sound card, network card, and graphics card, because the dell motherboard didnt support neither, or have any onboard of the sort.
So i gave her a mobo with onboard audio, networking, and video.
She told me to keep everything she didnt need.
So i have this sound card which im not sure would be better then my 780i on board. I know nothing about audio or sound cards.
I have the evga 780i
This is the sound card she had:

Any ideas ?
Should i throw the card in and use it ?
Should i sell the card somewhere ?
Should i recycle the card and toss it ?
Thanks guys
