Whenever I'm on my computer playing video games, or just listening to music, my sound cuts out. No apparent reason, it just cuts out. I tried it when I had everything (and when I say everything, I MEAN EVERYTHING) on stock, it still did the same thing.
The only reason I think it is doing this could be because I just threw in a 256 stick of memory in. Could it be because the memory is rated 266, and the 512 is rated 400 and I'm running both @266mhz with stock voltage?
Please help, not being able to hear is really !%$#@#& annoying...

I had to put it in though, my computer kept running out of memory and going to swap file, and that takes forever..

What the hell could a stick of ram have to do with my sound though?
