You won't see a lot of gaming benefits oc'ing your ram. As for timing, the numbers represents latency, so lower number is better.

just wana know if i rase the speed of my ram from its stock 800mhz will it make much difference?? also wen ppl talk about timings ie 5-5-18 likw mine which is better samller or bigger numbers?? cheers again

Raising the ram bandwidth will make a difference, but not a huge one. Timings are the same as latency, so the lower the numbers are, the better.
