I was playing splinter cell, and there's one part where it shows a cutscene after you climb up a ladder. Each time, (I tried several times) it freezes for a few seconds, then the screen goes blank, and the monitor says "out of range." I have to manually cut the power, and the restart to get my monitor working. Is this a video card driver error, or is it a messed-up game?

EDIT: now it just reboots completely...anyone know what's going on? I already tried reducing the resolution, and stuff like that.

I've heard of a couple stories where the game crashed because it wasn't patched. It did it on some systems and others not.
