I am looking to split my cable boxe signal between two TV's and I am looking for the right device. I know that both TV's would receive the exact same picture (channel), which is fine.

I just want to make sure I buy the right unit and some people have given these less than stellar reviews. I could always manually switch the cables myself as I only need one display on at a time, but I was hoping for a lasting convenient solution for $20 over the course of months/years it would save me getting down on the floor, reaching behind the cable box, fiddling with cables and unplugging one and plugging in another every day. It's just convenience really that I my gf wouldnt want to do it all the time..

These are the models I am looking at.. Not sure what HDCP is, but the first unit bypasses it.

Anyone have any recommendations?
