It is not mounted. I have a small rubber pad under it to isolate the noise. Thermal pads would work fine too.

BRUH.... You have no earthly idea. Not just the fitting but getting the parts right without wasting way to much $$$$$

Anyways. I'm gonna skip ahead here. I finished up the build about a week and a half ago, but haven't had time to take pictures, until now!

Agent 47 has accomplished his mission, and I'd like to introduce ya!

This build started off before the log as a simple showcase of what was possible in the NZXT Manta and has morphed into something more than I even imagined.

If you know me, you know I like to push the envelope, and I believe I've pushed the Manta to the brink of whats possible in it, without hard modding the case. I have 1 more thing that could go on in here, but it'd require some different hardware.

Hope you guys like it. I am VERY pleased with how this turned out!

I'd also like to take the time to think NZXT @xD3aDPooLx, @derickwm and EKWB, Visiontek, Ensourced custom sleeving and EVGA ( @EVGA-JacobF, as well as Mick from Mayhems.

I'm interested in some performance numbers. If we say that those rads dissipate around 160 watts with 1000 rpm fans per rad (~80W per 120mm), considering that you only have single fans sandwiched between double rads in the front how much would you say you've lost from the potential 320 watts of dissipation capacity? (I'm guessing it's not a small number)

I'm not sure exactly how much it affects it, but if there is something specific you would like me to try to give you an answer, please feel free!

It definitely does help with temps though... The GPU didn't break 43c at 1150mhz

It's easy for me to say, but I'm pretty sure you're not gonna like it. It would be really nice to know the temps when loaded in prime+furmark with and without the "most" front rad. Nothing scientific- over ambient delta averaged over say... 30 mins in 5 min intervals (for each configuration, after reaching "equilibrium" /although there's no such thing without a hotbox and a stable heat input/) would be more than sufficient.

I don't mean to sound demanding, there are just so many builds with no performance data and I find it incomplete. Also with the rather unconventional setup you've got here it could serve as a kind of a precedent to which potential builders could refer. (Of course I am aware of "the" thread on xsystems, but someone who's fresh to WC maybe isn't. Besides, independent tests never hurt)

Yeah.. that's what you get when you say "feel free".

If I had an easy way to pull the front rad out of the loop I'd do it in a heart beat. I'm aware of the sandwich rad test and what I've seen is it doesn't hurt anything at all... I'm going to load this up as heavily as i can and i'll see where that takes us!

If not, would a EK-XRES 100 fit in the back 120mm fan mount with the EK vertical pump mount?
You should be able to mount it with a radiator mount. I'd mount the fans outside the chassis and then put the res on the rad

Still looks very tight, are you talking about the vertical rad mount? or something like this? and should i change the 140 pump combo for the smaller 100? It's not too late for me to call in and have the order changed
