Is this USB modem or this laptop from his employer? If so, they might be blocking access during off-work hours.
Sprint USB modem is not a morning person
This is a bit strange:
My friend bought my GF's Dell Inspiron 5150 a few months back. He got a qualcomm 3g usb modem that connects to the sprint network. He told me yesterday about this problem he has been having - and it always happens before 9am. In the mornings, firefox won't load any pages (it won't even give a prompt as to why - just a blank web browser window). After 9am, he said everything works fine. weird huh. any ideas on this?? thanks a bunch
