I set up a LAN at my friend's house. His computer is the "main" computer and he's got another computer in his son's room hooked to the network. Both ar hooked through a router to the internet. He wants to be able to remotely monitor activity on his son's computer without his son knowing it (to make sure he's not going to "bad" websites. We've already set up a web blocker, but that doesn't block everything. He also wants to be able to watch chat conversations and such. I told him to just block it all if he's that concerned, but he still want to spy on him. What software is good to use, and where/how do I install it without his son knowing?

I'm pretty sure that this was on G4 TechTV. It was pretty darn good, according to them. It shows the AIM window and all that, and what the person using the computer was typing and stuff. Quite amazing stuff.
The only con is that this is freaking expensive. $99.99!!!

This is cheaper, but I'm not sure if this is as good.

Here is another one.

If you want to look it up yourself, just google "PC Monitoring"
