Ok Im getting ready to upgrade the parts in my Sig Rig to some new stuff.

780i ftw - x58 Classified
Q9650 - 980x
OCZ DDR 800 - Kingston Hyperx 2000
and adding a SSD to the system.

Ok I will be running Windows 7 64 Ultimate. Thats what I have right now running on the Sig Rig. So I pluged in the SSD to the system to find out what FW it has on it. I got the OCZ Vertex 2 120gb and it has the latest FW 1.11. Now I started up CrystalDiskInfo and it show the Brand New SSD as 89% health with 3 power on. *** I havent used the disk at all yet. This is bare drive no format no windows install. Should this show health that low already? Do I need to use another program or do something else before I install Windows? Thanks for any help.

So if a brand new unused drive is at 89% health then how long is this thing going to last when I start to use it?

Well, @ 90% health when I got the agilitys, I was told a 2,000,000 hr. MTBF.

Not that I'd expect to see that in the real world...anything over 100k hrs is a blessing.
