Ok to start off I followed the guide on how to align and set up my SSD for using my OS. I havn't really installed anything on it besides my OS and little things. When I set it up and turned of hibernation it braught my used space to 6.12-6.20 gb's used. Now its at 10gb's and rising. It seems like it uses more everytime I restart. I understand that updates might use some of the space, but really that much??

What should I do to stop making my SSD fill up slowly?

+Rep for helpful input! Thanks!

Also, did you set up a partition on the disk to save some life from it might be that

go to diskmanagement and look there

I use my raid 0 setup for everything else. But I dont think I made a new partition tho.

EDIT: What would be the benefits of doing that??

New partition is to keep about 20 or so percent of the total space so you dont end up using it.

U have to turn off system restore

Hibernation creates large files which are stored and then the transferred back into memory I think.

Go to:
Start>all programs>accessories>system tools>disc clean up

On the second tab, click system restore and shadow copies. When that has done, select all the options in the first tab and click ok.

Correct me if I am wrong

said he did the guides already for setting it up(most likely magicman)
only thing i can really see taking up space is your firefox downloads unless you moved that folder to another drive (raid0) or you have some other benching software or virus programs saving the data to your main ssd....which of course will take up space if you do alot of scanning and such for data logs

edit:
The point of having that extra partition of space is to save the ssd lifespan....
if you fill up a hard drive rather quickly youll notice it does lag and die out (if your a heavy user quicker than average)
same applies to ssd its going to act like a "safe point" you can use up to that amount before the ssd runs into some trouble
mind you though this does not have to be done you can use up your ssd space and do what you please But it does help keep the ssd in alot healthier condition....

Delete all that kinky porn of your SSD, the loading times don't need to be THAT quick.

Or maybe for you its an issue!

64GB isn't much anymore.
With the Windows updates and whatever else I wouldn't be installing much else on that as the OS drive.
And DO NOT run a defrag.
If you have, box it up and send it back now.

How much free space do you have?
I wanna see a pic of the pie!
I have Rift and WoW on my SSD/OS drive and NOTHING else.

Try 'space monger', you get a 30 day trial IIRC, but it gives you a nice visual of your harddrive, in a form thats easy to assess at a glance. It shows big files as Large cubes, small files are small cubes. Its hard to explain, but super easy to use. screenshot below.

I never ran defrag but I did have to install my OS 5 different times (Cant be good, thats 50gb's)because of issues with my Raid0. I'll post a pic in a sec. I know about system restore and defrag. I've read alot of posts about setting up SSD's and kind of know what to do.

EDIT: I also didn't disable indexing.

Heres my drive
