Stalker Clear Sky: Any good now?

Its been a few months, enough time for major bug fixes and whatnot. Does anyone here know if the game is close to being a finished product now?

It was so broken during release day that I uninstalled it in rage. Should I go back to it? Is it at least as good as the first STALKER (which I actually fairly liked)?

It was good on release. I dont know what you are talking about.

Either way, yes it is good to go. I just played it through the other day fully updated. I swear everyone who says Stalker is buggy goes out of their way to find bugs. I have yet to really find anything game breaking or anything. :/

It's a somewhat decent but a major change from Shadow of Chernobyl. I still cannot seem to beat Strelok as he just escapes and then as I follow him I get ambushed by Monolith and killed quickly and this is with excellent equipment. It's going to be taxing on you're system though. I have had a few crashes with Shadow and Clear Sky so I can confirm there is bugs but there is few of them.
I have it, awesome game.

I'm with you on this one. The game played fine for me when I first bought it the day it released. The performance is slightly better with the new patches.

Seriously you guys had no bugs while other players and reviewers all experienced tons of them? A bit strange it seems.

How about simple game play bugs, aka, you get a mission, you fail/or complete the mission before you even head out to get there? Nothing like that?

Yeah but they arent that big of a deal. They arent game breaking. You can still do the missions anyways.

Some of the time that is caused by an important character being dead before the mission comes into play or because a pack of animals have moved etc.

It worked great for me since I got it (release day on steam, about a week after regular release)
So bugs in videos like this, and tons of others, are fixed?
