The problem I have with this game is the mouse speed setting. In game looking around is just fine, I can change that. But navigating through the backpack and pda is plain annoyingly slow.

Is there anything I can do about this?

I dunno but lemme know if you get it fixed, I have the same issue and it's friggin annoying. I have the complete 2009 mod on mine, not sure if it's because of that or not, but I don't remember this problem before...

What kind of mouse are you using? A high-DPI gamer-type mouse or a low consumer-oriented mouse? Try messing around with your windows mouse settings, I bet the windows sensitivity only modifies either the menu or in-game sensitivity, and that's why you're having issues.

it got nothing to do with the 2009 mod.

try increasing your desktop mouse speed, and decrease the ingame speed to compensate. If you have a gamers mouse, set DPI high, and compensate the same way.
