This may be a ridiculous question but [email protected] gpu client always seems to start when I load windows, whereas the cpu client needs to be loaded. I had a look through config. and I can't find a way to stop this. I just worry that I'll forget about it one day as I don't run the card's fan at 100% normally, because of the noise, and it'll heat up to some crazy level.
Use a shortcut that leads to [email protected], and after the path quotes put a space and -configonly for the moment. Then go through the commands and when it asks see advanced options, go there and disable it from running as a service.
