Steam Connetion Issues?

I'm having Steam connection issues, and am wonder if its an isolated problem or not.
It says "No Connection" at the bottom of my steam browser,
I can access the store
I can't access online game in boarderlands 2

I'm guessing boarderlands 2 is slamming the servers.

Mine has been off for the past 4 hours. Glad I spent money on a game I cant play
