Cheaters getting banned from a game shouldn't really be news. But then again, the game uses VAC so it should be an event.

I concur. At least they're not waiting the 4-5 weeks VAC2 usually takes to ban people.

Good news..

I played this game on my friends machine the other day and it wasn't so bad. Didn't see any hackers, but there was a pretty annoying amount of lag.

If you think VAC doesn't work, just go to the steamforums and look at the VAC thread. never is there a day without a new post about someone's sibling using cheats and not them.

Yes this is mostly kids who dont really have a clue, there are plenty of cheats out there that VAC simply doesnt pick up - if VAC was so good then my cs:s clan wouldnt need over 15'000 active bans on our servers (of course some of these are not just for hacking).
