Still work on SMP

Ok, so I've figured out the smp, but I get the message that I need to accept the license agreement. I have no clue what to do for this one. I know I have to write -license, but what else to I add to the end? It goes so quickly that I can't read it.

well, as you can see, it doesn't seem to work. I'll try to type it all in instead.

I've looked everywhere on folding site, and can't find the install.bat

anyone know where it is?

Thanks very much. It explained a lot to me. Right now I'm doing 1% every 80 seconds or so... it's a lot faster than it was.

I am not getting it to work with FaHmon though. Every time I add it on there, it shows up with a red icon. It doesn't work with fahspy (atleast the gpu clients don't work on there...) Any more I could try?

It says "*The SMP client console requires a password on your system" I don't remember doing anything with a password with the SMP client. Am I supposed to have the client that works well with the computer or one with folding stuff.

Normally to get the windows SMP it requires a windows passowrd on the computer that you then type into the SMP when running the install.bat. As it appears to be working you must have done it.

I think if its crunching along at 80seconds/% and he hasn't run install.bat, or typed in his windows password anywhere, the thing is hes only running a regular client...

You need to run the install.bat, and feed it your windows account password, let it run, it will say if you see this twice mpich is working... then rerun the smp client with the smp flag, after deleting your work folder, and queue.dat files... also why not post some screenshots for us
they help us help you. one of FahMon would be nice, we can also read your fahlog to try and help you out
