I've googled my brains out over the past couple weeks trying to find an answer to this, but I can't. With my Z77X-UD3H motherboard, my WD Green 1TB drive isn't waking up when I sleep in Windows 8, but it only does it some of the time. I have three SSDs that all wake with Win8, but the WD doesn't. I have downloaded the latest chipset drivers for the mobo, but that doesn't seem to have helped.

What am I doing wrong?

disable wake on lan.

It seemed to work for a while, but I've been getting the problem again. It's got half of my programs on it, the only way to seem to get it to wake up is restarting.

Install the latest SATA driver: www.station-drivers.com/telechargement/intel/sata/intel-rst_12.0.0.1083(www.station-drivers.com).exe

Go to power options and set the advanced settings and set it to high performance and set hard disk to never sleep.
