Streaming music to PS3

Shouldn't I be able to listen to music from my Vista computer on my PS3? I have it connected via a wired connection to my router. Vista is also a wired connection to same router.
I can stream from Xbox, but not PS3. Is there something I need to enable to do it?
I thought it would be easier to figure out.

Are you trying through Media Center? I could never get that to work. I use TVersity.

I just use windows media player. Just click on the arrow under library and select media sharing, and it should bring up a menu to set everything up. It will stream any music or video in the media player's library.
So if the Vista comp is set up to stream to Xbox from media center I still need to configure it to stream to PS3 from the media player?

Tversity is the way to go, 100000000x's better than wmp imo, ive had nothing but issues with wmp, tversity also accesses the media from my pc faster than wmp ( the list on the ps3 scrolls and updates faster imo)
