Ok.. like I said.. Im a newb so feel free to make fun of me.. Anyway, Im attemping to overclock.. Ive gotten from 2.4 (stock) to 2.615 stable by bumping up the FSB from 200 to 218. I cant seem to get anything stable past that though.. Ive tried lowering the mem clock and upping the FSB and that allowed me to get to 2.7 but it wasnt stable.. any help is appreciated. thanks. Here is a screenshot BTW..

yes, max memclock. Thats the divider for your memory. We want it running right with the FSB 1:1 so set it at 400.
If you can, post a link to your memory on newegg, or wherever you bought it..I want to look at the specifications

alright cool, you might want to change your timings to 2.5-3-3-6 1T. Forget about the tighter timings, you want bandwidth!!

1.5 isn't high vcore. Actually I would expect it to take 1.5-1.6 for 2.7. If your vcore maxes out around 1.55. I would leave it at that, and see how high you can get. 1.55 is not harmful at all.
