Hi there.

I have a weird stuttering issue with multiple monitors. It feels like a simple loss of FPS on the desktop. When dragging windows around it will start to stutter then go smooth again. It will continue to do this for as long as I drag things around. Starting off smooth for a couple seconds, then stutter for a while then smooth again.

It's really annoying when moving windows from monitor to monitor and even when scolling on a webpage (i use smooth scrolling.)

Anyone have a similar issue and have a fix?

Sounds like its your Idle speeds or something...

Can you increase the idle speed of your GPU? I think MSI afterburner can do it.

Both exactly the same monitor with same settings as far as I know. The stuttering is not awful but just wondering why it's doing this as my brother is running 2 monitors on a GT240 and runs smooth and mine don't on a GTX260

Upped it quite a bit and still seems to be there.

In which case, not sure.

Does it happen when you're running stock?

Well, it has only started doing it today and don't really want to go all the way back to stock as i don't think that is the answer. I also got a new mouse and not the best drivers I have ever used so i'm going to investigate that aswell. (Roccat Kone)
