Subtitles into AVI files

I know most of you guys are from the US and don't need such things as... subtitles but I need a prog which can help me merge subtitles into AVI files (yanno, like in some anime eps

) so when I burn the avi file into dvd I can get great quality plus subs.
Can anyone help me?
btw, i already got the subtitle file and the avi file, i just need the prog.

btw, i already got the subtitle file and the avi file, i just need the prog.

What format are the subtiles in now... if they are *.sub and *.idx then I can help you out.
