Hey I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions regarding what video card I should buy. I'm looking for one that's less than $200 dollars (cheaper the better), preferably Dx10 although not required, quiet, and doesn't run too hot.

Thanks for any suggestions and recommendations.

Either the 4850 from ATI or 9800GTX+ from Nvidia would suit you perfectly... the 4850 does run hot due to the single slot design, so I personally went with the 9800GTX+

Thanks for the suggestions.

Are there any major differences between the 4850, 9800GTX, and the 8800GTS?

I'll probably choose one of these three since they're all similarly priced, but I'm trying to see if there is a reason I should pick one of them over the other.

I was also curious about the 9800GT. Is it a decent card? It looks like I could get it for 95 dollars

Oh and just a side note, I'm not planning on buying a quieter cooler or anything.

The new 4850 from sapphire is the best 4850 on the market, and is cooler than the original by 15C. Although there is no cooling on the ram.

To answer your questions: the 4850 is the best card bang for buck. Hands down, no questions asked.
